    I looked for a feedback section on your site but could only see the testimonials section scrolling in the bottom left, it may be me not looking properly. Any road…. 

    A short email to say thank you very much for: 

    1.       Delivering my orders fantastically quickly. I only ordered two items on two separate occasions and both arrived very quickly, one of which was less than 24 hours. 

    2.       Resolving the return and replacement of the shoes that I ordered in a fast efficient manner.

Unwanted and exchange items

  • Goods which prove unsuitable may be returned for a refund or exchange if the are returned to Merlin Cycles within 14-30 days from receipt subject to the following conditions:-
  • Goods are returned carriage paid
  • Goods are returned unused (not fitted) and in perfect condition in its original packaging where appropriate.
  • Please do not return in the goods original packaging without first wrapping the goods or using a jiffy bag, please do not stick labels or write on the goods original packaging.
  • Goods returned after 14 days may be accepted but a credit note voucher will be given in lue of a direct refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • Merlin Cycles cannot accept the return of custom built/specially ordered products such a bicycles and wheels (including disc and wheel kits) as these products are built to each customers requirements. Please note: As 50% of the wheel costs are incurred within the labour charges to handbuild it, if you change or cancel a wheel order this cost will be deducted from any refund.
  • Please include a copy of your receipt and a full covering letter (or our returns form) with all returns and for your protection, please keep your proof of posting.
  • Postage costs, as most of the items we sell include the postage charge within the price we reserve the right to deduct the cost of posting the item to you from any refund due. If we need to send out an exchange item there will be a further charge for redelivery. As an example, exchange clothing £2 P&P, shoes £3.50 P&P.
  • We will contact you on receipt of your return and all the information relating to it will be within your web account in respect of any replacements or refunds. For refunds please allow 10 days for any refunds to show in your credit card / Maestro accounts from when we recieved the goods.

Wrongly supplied goods

  • We will endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as feasibly possible.
  • If you need to return an item due to the fault of Merlin Cycles we will of course cover your postage costs to the value of 1st class delivery for small items or Royal Mail standard  parcel service for larger items, both these services are available at any Post Office and should arrive back to ourselves within a day or two.
  • Please note we are only able to refund postage for the services described, please do not use the Royal Mail special delivery service or a premium courier as we are not  able to refund these costs.
  • You may use premium service but we regret that we can only refund the standard 1st class postage rate.

Warranty returns

  • If you have an item that you need to return to Merlin Cycles due to a fault within its warranty period please contact us first as we may be able to offer advise over the telephone.
  • If in the event you need to post an item back please include a copy of your  receipt together with full details of the problem so as to help us with a speedy return.
  • Please note some items may need to be returned to the UK manufacturer/distributor for inspection/repair.
  • Goods must be returned in a clean condition, postage paid.
  • We are sorry but we are unable to refund postage costs.
  • The warranty is to repair or replace at the manufacturers discretion.
  • If the goods are found to be out of warranty we will try to work with you to find the best possible solution.
  • If you require non warranty goods to be returned you will need to cover the postage costs.

Urgent returns
If you have purchased something that is not the right size, model or colour and required a replacement quickly, the easiest solution is to purchase the correct item from our store and return the first item to ourselves with a note asking for a full refund.
