Ridley RES U500 Men 9 Speed

A comfortable, reliable and lightweight e-bike. That’s the RES U500. This e-bike is lighter than most e-bikes, because the battery is located on the frame. This not only ensures better weight distribution and therefore better bike handling, but it also makes it possible to take the battery with you (for recharging).

The U500 is equipped with four levels of support. You can easily adjust the bicycle: change the saddle height and handlebar angle to set your ideal riding position. The handles of the bike are ergonomic and rotatable, so you can find the best position for yourself. The Continental tyres have low rolling resistance and double puncture protection with good cushioning. In addition, the geometry ensures that you can ride comfortably.

The battery has a range of approximately 70 kilometres. The U500 is equipped with a Shimano5000 mid-motor, one of the most well-known motor systems built by Shimano. The mid-mounted motor and geometry of the U500 provide a stable and reliable riding experience. The bike is easily connected to Shimano’s E-Tube app which allows you to see how full the battery is, install software updates and change settings.

The U500 is an ergonomic e-bike with maximum comfort, perfect for commuting, a quick errand in the city centre or a recreational cycling tour.

Comfort Features

To adjust your ride to the most comfortable position, there is a possibility to adjust the saddle for the ideal height, An adjustable stem (U500&U800) to lift up the handlebar for a more straighter back position and the adjustable grips for the best placement for your hands, A good position results also in better control.

This in combination with our E-bike specific tire that reduces shocks for the maximum comfort of the rider.

They are equally reliable in all weather conditions. The ease of braking is a real bonus, especially when your hands are frozen and barely functional. Just a light pull on the lever to modulate your speed. With no need for braking on the rim surface, wear and tear is reduced. This gets you much more mileage from your wheelset.

Visibility & Safety

The certified lock with safety label keeps your bike safe when it is parked, The mounted lights on the RES will improve your visibility not only for the rider but also for the all-round traffic, We added as an extra safety feature reflective decals, these will light up when u are spotted in bad or dark weather.

Mid Center Motor

The Mid-center motor lets you benefit from more stability and weight balance.
